Inspiration, fun and further reading
Over the years we each amass a huge library of information that is worth sharing - Inspiring or useful books we've read, websites that are worth talking about. And shops that we love. Well here is the start of my list - check back here whenever you can for even more treats. I will be updating it regularly.
Can you teach me how to meditate?

Sri Yogi Prakash Shankar Vyas. Respectful name:"Guruji".
As a Yoga teacher, I naturally get asked this question. I can certainly offer pranayama (breathing exercises) and simple meditation techniques to get you into the daily habit of sitting for a spiritual practice. Whereas a Spiritual Master Teacher of Yoga can teach you everything there is to know about Yoga and meditation.
There is one such Spiritual Master Teacher of Kriya Yoga, living quietly in Melbourne, Australia. He is called Sri Yogi Prakash Shankar Vyas. Respectful name:"Guruji". He is also my own Yoga Master Teacher. If you would like to know more about Kriya Yoga meditation, the first thing to do would be to buy the phenomenal book: "Footsteps to Freedom" by Heidi Wyder. You can purchase the book from me (if you are local and know me personally) or via this link:

For a more immediate taste of the Master's wisdom, read through some of Wyder's fantastic blogs at:

Heidi Wyder, the author of the above mentioned book: Footsteps to Freedom, is a singer-songwriter as well as an accomplished author. With several albums to her credit, she has recently begun writing beautiful melodies more devotional in nature, with great success - as you will hear if you follow the link above. Enjoy!

If you've ever wished you had a crystal ball, well I may have found the next best thing in Kate Lomax. She is the profoundly gifted psychic I myself was referred to some years ago. Go to her website to find out more about Kate's refreshingly no nonsense approach to steering you through those tricky life mazes. The ones where you'd love to just peek around the next corner, or find a little extra clarity with some tricky challenge. The name says it all - Kate won't sugar coat what she sees. But in my experience she has always surprised, delighted and at times astounded me with the brilliance and accuracy of her readings.

You're sure of a warm welcome in this gem of a vintage boutique, tucked away in the gorgeous Libra Court in the centre of Sidmouth, here in Devon, England. This is the place to find all kinds of one-off treasures. Especially; beautifully made local crafts, clothes and soft furnishings. In addition Coco usually has covetable and lovingly restored pieces like the writing bureau shown in the photo (left). Hand made cards, hair clips and gorgeous vintage designer clothes that would probably cost three times as much in London. It's the perfect place for that person who has everything. Or if you are looking for a unique gift for someone special enough to warrant picking out something lush, without breaking the bank. And you'll know that they probably wont find the gift you pick up, anywhere else.

After watching a few of Laruga's Yoga videos, for example this one featuring demonstration of Press to Handstand:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwOHsix84Ts&feature=g-all-s&context=G241a6a8FAAAAAAAABAA it's difficult not to fall in love with her effortless grace as an Ashtanga Yoga Teacher. Indeed she is a lady of many talents and also writes eloquently about the highs and not so highs of life as a yogini...If you're also a Yoga teacher, I think you may find yourself saying "So true!" a lot and also giggling, loads! I was! Check out Laruga's blog here:
